- Why do you use plastic packaging?
Compared to glass, producing plastic is cheaper and involves less CO2. In addition, plastic is much lighter compared to glass, and thus CO2 emissions are further reduced with transport.
At Naturli’, we have constant focus on packaging and we work continuously with suppliers, looking at potential improvements. We are currently working with our supplier on the possibility of using recycled plastic. We want to support solutions, where we BOTH use recycled plastic and reduce the impact on the climate from our products.
- How should your packaging be disposed of?
It states on the packaging how it should be sorted and disposed of with other household waste. All of the plastic can easily be cleaned and sorted with the other household plastic. The plant drink containers should be incinerated with ordinary household waste at the municipal incinerator centre, while glass, after a light cleaning, can be included in your household's waste bin for only glass and metal.
- The tray for Naturli’ Minced sometimes looks distended - why is that?
Now and then slightly too much air is sealed in the pack when Naturli’ Minced is packaged. It makes the pack look slightly distended but it is completely safe.
It is correct that in some cases there is a fermenting effect with minced beef, but this is not the case with Naturli’ Minced.
